Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Occasional flexibility for APAC support)
Assignment Duration: 6 months (Possibility of extension)

Position Overview
Corning is seeking an experienced IT Network Analyst II with strong hands-on networking skills and experience supporting Cisco and Arista platforms. This role will focus on configuring devices, supporting network monitoring tools, maintaining documentation, and assisting with deployments and upgrades.
This position is 100% remote, with preference for candidates within 1 hour of Corning, NY or Charlotte, NC; however, all U.S. locations will be considered. Candidates must support EST hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support Cisco IOS and Arista EOS network devices.
- Perform basic network configurations, including routing, VLAN setups, and interface configurations.
- Update and maintain SolarWinds for network performance monitoring and alerting.
- Maintain accuracy of network assets within the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Assist with network deployments, hardware refreshes, and upgrade initiatives.
- Document configurations, maintain updated network diagrams, and follow change management procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista network equipment.
- Working knowledge of SolarWinds monitoring tools.
- Experience updating and managing data in ServiceNow CMDB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
- Experience with automation tools such as Python or Ansible.
- Understanding of core network security concepts and best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred).
