Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, System Administrator (JNY) to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs tier one and two network and systems support in accordance with the SIE OPORD and organization MECM standards
- Provides support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, MECM infrastructure, and system interfaces for enterprise workstation management.
- Maintains file servers, distribution points, management points, and network access; documents, analyses, and troubleshoots system anomalies to ensure optimum MECM and system performance.
- Monitors and controls one or more mid-range application servers, including MECM site servers and supporting roles.
- Studies program operating instructions and technical documentation to determine proper equipment setup, MECM configurations, and operational processes.
- Monitors the operation of MECM applications, software distribution, patch deployments, and storage devices; identifies points of hardware or software failure.
- Troubleshoot and configure systems in accordance with standard procedures when components of the MECM environment malfunction.
- Maintains operating records such as system logs, distribution reports, deployment results, and
performance metrics.
- Coordinates with software systems engineering, application packagers, cybersecurity teams, and developers to correct errors or implement updates within the MECM ecosystem.
- Installs and updates operating system software, patches, feature updates, and cumulative updates
- using MECM-based deployment methods.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, MECM agent, and networking issues impacting client or server performance.
- Configures, optimizes, fine-tunes, and monitors MECM site components, boundary groups, and content distribution.
- Performs system backups and recovery tasks for MECM site servers and associated infrastructure.
- Conducts server builds and supports the implementation of new MECM roles, distribution points, and site enhancements.
- Troubleshoots issues related to software deployments, operating system deployment (OSD), task sequences, application packaging, and patching workflows.
- Develops, updates, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all MECM-related infrastructure, processes, and operational tasks.
- Studies program operating instructions to determine equipment setup and operations.
- Monitors the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determines the point of hardware or software failure.
Qualifications
- Min 6 years with HS Diploma, 4 years with AS/AA degree, or 2 years with BS/BA
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
- DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II
- Highly desirable: Microsoft Associate-level certification
