Our venture is aimed at utilizing the latest AI technology to benefit two segments in the Building Industry: Corporate and Institutional Real Estate Owners who develop construction projects; and Lenders/ Finance Departments that fund those projects. The Building Industry is a $1.5 Trillion industry in the US and around $100 Billion is spent on due diligence and project monitoring.
You would partner with the CEO/Founder/Chief Product Officer (CPO) who is a bit of a unicorn: tri-careers in Software; Building Industry; Finance. That person is well known in these industries and has held leadership positions at Oracle, SAP/BusinessObjects, GE Digital, and some startups. He is a deep subject matter expert for the needed domain knowledge.
Must be within a 2-hour drive of Pleasanton California for twice-monthly meetings.
Responsibilities
(1) Own our DB schema, to be created in consultation with CEO/CPO.
(2) Own the creation of working solution prototype. You will supervise two outsource companies in India, one of whom is a heavy hitter in AI, Machine Learning, LLM's, RAG.
(3) Decide, along with an outside software architect from one of those firms in India, our architecture and tech stack.
(4) Create and explain diagrams of #3 to Investors, Customers, Partners.
(5) Coordinate those two software houses in India.
(6) Own our hosting operations which will utilize AWS or Digital Ocean.
(7) Supervise the ongoing populating of a bespoke LLM and Training Data Repository with specialized data.
Qualifications
(1) Recent actual working experience with "low code/ no code" platforms to produce specialized LLM's and LM's.
(2) Verifiable experience with React; NodeJS or Golang; Python; Postgres; and a popular hosting platform such as AWS or Digital Ocean.
(3) Some knowledge of the building construction industry, i.e., more than just layman knowledge.
(4) Have an entrepreneurial streak.
(5) Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
