Position OverviewThe Chief Technology Officer leads all digital strategy, platform development, and technology operations for The Peace Aid Foundation. Reporting to the President and CEO, this role oversees the Peace Aid App, website infrastructure, data systems, and cybersecurity. The CTO ensures that all digital tools support organizational transparency, donor engagement, and global program delivery. This position plays a central role in shaping the Foundation’s long-term technology vision while managing system integration, vendor relationships, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities• Direct the Foundation’s digital strategy, technical roadmap, and long-term technology planning.
• Oversee development, testing, and optimization of the Peace Aid App and related digital platforms.
• Manage cybersecurity protocols, data governance standards, and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Maintain reliable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and integrated systems.
• Supervise relationships with digital vendors, developers, and technical contractors.
• Lead cross-department digital initiatives and ensure technology supports program and fundraising goals.
• Develop policies and procedures for safeguarding data and strengthening digital resilience.
• Provide senior leadership with technology recommendations, platform analytics, and performance updates.
• Support staff training and adoption of digital tools and systems.
Education and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum ten years of progressive experience in technology leadership.
• Experience managing digital programs, software platforms, or enterprise systems in a nonprofit or SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated success with cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and comparable platforms.
