System Administrator III – Potential for Hybrid Schedule

As a System Administrator III:
What you will do:
- Establish and manage the technology infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, operating systems, systems middleware, and telecommunications)
- Contribute to documenting, monitoring, and maintaining the network infrastructure and improving its posture
- Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership, business teams, IT, and external vendors
- Serve as an escalation point to diagnose complex network and server issues, identifying causes and developing remediation strategies
- Assist the management of the server environment—tasks include creating new virtual machines, upgrading management software, troubleshooting infrastructure, and closely monitoring resource usage
- Understand business requirements and effectively design, communicate, and deliver solutions to both technical and business audiences
- Offer technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers as required
Required Qualifications Include:
- CCNA or comparable industry certification
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure Networking
- 3+ years of experience with designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and tuning components associated with the LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems and solid grasp of Active Directory and Group Policy in a multi-domain, geographically separated environment
- Solid TCP/IP network knowledge and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of DHCP, WINS, and DNS network services
- Strong working knowledge of backup concepts and best practices—preferably experienced using Veeam Backup and Replication software
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server administration
- Understanding of SAN and storage architecture
- Knowledge of wireless networking including managing, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cooperative teamwork skills, excellent problem-solving ability, high degree of flexibility, and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
- Must be detail-oriented and able to identify, prioritize, and complete tasks on deadline
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
