Job Title: Network Administrator
System One is looking for an experienced Network Administrator to manage and maintain our client's network and infrastructure systems. Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and access controls.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and cloud integrations.
- Document network configurations and procedures.
Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role (Network Administrator or related IT position).
- Education: College degree preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Infrastructure & Cloud Technology Requirements- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux-based systems.
- Directory Services: Active Directory, Group Policy.
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
- Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS solutions, Veeam or similar backup tools.
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (networking, VPNs, hybrid cloud setups).
- Security: Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPN technologies.
Additional Requirements- Must be willing to work on-site during standard business hours.
- Full-time availability required.
Preferred Skills- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft/AWS certifications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
