Job Summary:
We are seeking a Network Administrator responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. This includes local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networks, and Internet systems. The role ensures optimal network availability, performance, and security by proactively monitoring and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and related systems. The Network Administrator will also support enterprise systems including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Cisco/Meraki equipment, and VoIP phone systems.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Windows Server environments (2012 or later) within an Active Directory domain.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including account provisioning, mailbox administration, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Configure and support TCP/IP core services such as LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and SMTP.
- Maintain and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), access control lists, file and print services, and system automation platforms.
- Provide operational support for VoIP systems, imaging solutions, and document management platforms.
- Install, configure, and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Administer and troubleshoot Meraki wireless infrastructure; support LAN/WAN, wireless APs, and telecom systems.
- Monitor network performance using tools like PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine; resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform updates and upgrades of network hardware and software.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and network scalability evaluations.
- Develop and implement network security measures, supporting compliance initiatives.
- Prepare network and system documentation for audits, compliance reviews, and internal tracking.
- Provide user training and technical support; develop and deliver network utility training.
- Evaluate hardware/software upgrades and report on value, risks, and implementation timelines.
