We are looking for a skilled Risk Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a results-driven mindset, and expertise in risk remediation and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate risk factors across the organization to develop effective remediation strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management plans within established deadlines.

• Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies in processes and recommend solutions.

• Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support risk management activities.

• Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage project workflows and ensure timely delivery.

• Monitor and assess internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Facilitate enterprise-wide risk management initiatives by coordinating efforts across departments.

• Develop and execute remediation plans to address identified risks.

• Perform document reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

• Leverage tools like Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create actionable insight

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk remediation and enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to manage internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and cross-functional project management.
• Expertise in gap analysis and development of remediation plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
