Overview
We're an early-stage bootstrapped start-up building a system of AI agents for the commerce operational stack. Our MVP has been launched, and we're in closed BETA with select paid pilot customers. We're going after a +$800 billion market that is still dependent on legacy/outdated systems of records and cumbersome, repetitive manual work. We have strong customer validation and conviction in what problems we are solving. Now, we're looking to bring in a co-founder/builder.
Responsibilities
As a co-founder/CTO on the team, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the company's AI initiatives. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can be hands-on and code with the team. Day-to-day tasks may include designing and implementing data models, AI, and collaborating with the team to build the application.
The compensation for this role is equity-only until the product reaches the next milestone, i.e., a priced funding round. The candidate should have at least one or more occurrences of taking a vision or concept to a GTM'd and/or market-penetrated product. Equity is negotiable and depends on factors such as skills, responsibilities, time commitment, and willingness to bootstrap.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of expertise in full-stack, machine learning, or artificial Intelligence engineering
- Must have 2+ YOE in a leadership role, hiring, coaching, and growing teams
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, NodeJS, or Angular, frameworks such as LangChain, RAG, LlamaIndex
- Knowledge of building conversational AI experience using NLP techniques
- Knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and statistical techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience in a technical leadership role is a must
- Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning
- Prior entrepreneurship success is a plus
Bonus
- Have prior start-up experience
- Have also worked in big-tech building SaaS products
Note
The other founders are based out in the US, but the engineering team is in India. While this position is remote in the US, you should be flexible in working with the India team for a few hours a day.
