General Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator will be the primary point of contact for the reliable and cost-effective delivery of IT systems and solutions to internal clients. This includes desktop, cloud-based, and mobile software solutions, networking services, physical hardware, and automated IT processes. The role will manage and oversee contracted IT resources responsible for MAAS, PAAS, cloud infrastructure support, network troubleshooting, and local hardware/network support. Key responsibilities include maintaining uptime for all critical systems and controlling the cost of delivery.
Essential Job Functions
Strategize with Supervisor on project deliverables, including resources, budget allocation and timetables
Manage 3rd party vendor contracts and service level agreements
Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables
Builds Organization IT skillset that will enable and drive financial growth
Evaluate, manage and mitigate risk across all projects
Support employee technology needs, including onboarding and offboarding functions
Support employees with various technology, software and application support
Desired Skills and Experiences
- Ability to remotely troubleshoot and provide hardware and application support to users across diverse geographies and skill levels in a cloud-hosted Microsoft 365 environment
- Advanced PowerPoint skills that enable a story-driven presentation with compelling and complete data
- Experience with administering user authentication, privileges, group memberships and licensing in Microsoft Entra
- Familiarity with CISCO Meraki networking, including hub-and-spoke VPN connectivity
- Ability to engage and manage local contract support resources for hardware and networking across diverse geographies
- Business-driven focus with the capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with or desire to learn Azure SQL Server maintenance and administration
- Experience with Sophos and Veeam a plus
- Works well in a fast-paced environment; effectively adapts to shifting plans and priorities
Soft skills: Change Management, Risk Management, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving
Technical skills: Fit/Gap Analysis, Project Management Software Application, Meraki Networking Support (not administrative), and Microsoft Azure (cloud platform), Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Requirements and/or Preferences
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
- Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) Certification
- 3+ years of managerial experience
Preference:
- Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function
- PMIs Project Management Professional Certification
- PMI-RMP Professional Risk Management Certification
Other Consideration
Must be willing to travel (including occasional overnight stays) to meet with business needs including assisting with onboarding Field Leadership
