Job Summary:
The Risk Management Associate plays a key role in supporting the Risk team by conducting root cause analyses, developing corrective action responses, and producing detailed reports. This role also involves direct interaction with small premium insured clients and providing administrative support as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
Root Cause Analysis & Reporting
- Investigate incidents and trends to identify root causes.
- Develop and document corrective action plans.
- Prepare and present reports to internal stakeholders.
Client Servicing
- Serve as a point of contact for small premium insureds.
- Address client inquiries and support risk mitigation efforts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, and internal coordination.
- Support the Risk team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous office experience required.
- 1–2 years of experience in workers’ compensation as a producer, account manager, or claims specialist preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in transitioning into loss control and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working in a diverse team and with diverse clients.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant degree preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds at a time.
Additional Requirements:
- Due to the nature of our business, and urgency of our clients' needs, you may be required to participate in the Company’s on call program and work on holidays/weekends according to the on-call schedule.
