We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure in Brecksville, Ohio. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of enterprise systems while collaborating with the IT team to support business operations. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain enterprise-level computer systems, servers, network infrastructure, and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement strategies to enhance uptime and reliability.
• Implement robust security measures to protect systems and data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Plan, execute, and oversee system upgrades, patches, and migrations to minimize operational disruptions.
• Create and update documentation for IT systems, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance infrastructure functionality.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members while managing project timelines and deliverables.
• Utilize physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s IT needs.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, focusing on enterprise-level systems and networks.
• Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, VMware, and networking technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, or other industry-recognized credentials.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tools like Windows PowerShell, Okta, multi-factor authentication, and virtual networking is a plus.
