We're looking for a Junior Systems Administrator who’s comfortable in the trenches, but has their sights set on cybersecurity and system ops mastery. If you're ready to grow into infrastructure, SecOps, or cloud admin work—and you're not afraid of doing the hard stuff first—this role was built for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Tackle L2/L3 tickets and escalated tech issues (servers, networks, cloud, endpoints)
Administer and secure:
- Windows Server / AD / Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 / Azure AD / Entra ID / Conditional Access
- Intune, Defender EDR/XDR, and cloud-based endpoint protections
- Work with tools like NinjaOne, Halo PSA, Huntress, SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike
- Help implement security remediations and close vulnerabilities
- Onboard new clients, run baseline security checks, and build documentation that makes sense
- Automate where you can, script when you must (PowerShell experience preferred)
- Stay in sync with our team and our clients—this isn’t a solo ride
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support or sysadmin experience (MSP background is a big plus)
- Strong grasp of Windows environments, cloud administration, and endpoint/network security
- A baseline understanding of EDR/XDR/MDR tools—and curiosity to dive deeper
- Experience with RMM/PSA tools and patching workflows (NinjaOne, Halo, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently—with clients and teammates
- Someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do—you see it, you solve it
- Most importantly: You want to be part of something growing and meaningful—not just punch the clock
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with compliance (HIPAA, CMMC, CIS frameworks)
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- AI Automation Wizard
- Exposure to Azure environments, Defender portal, or cloud automation
- A personal home lab
