About the Position:
- Spearhead training the AI via the creation of natural language instruction on behalf of Clients. AI Counsel will both train the AI directly as well as work with the Client and independent lawyers externally on how to train the AI
- Interacting with clients' legal teams to answer questions and make adjustments to the AI (no technical skills or experience needed)
- 3 days per week in San Francisco office, 2 days remote
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of corporate law firm experience
- 2+ years of in-house legal work focused on contracts
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills, intense creativity, and a highly collaborative style
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience working with technology companies, with an understanding of complex technical issues and data security
- Experience writing playbooks and/or standard operating procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with commercial contracts
Compensation
- Salary of $200k with generous equity package
