Ready to make a real impact in cybersecurity? We’re looking for a Business Development Representative who will focus on generating and qualifying leads with Enterprise Customers across the US. This role involves identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to create sales opportunities for the top performing Enterprise Account Executives.
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Retail, Energy.
- Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to engage prospects and introduce their technology.
- Qualification: Assess prospects’ needs and qualify leads.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) and manage a pipeline of leads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and provide detailed insights into prospect needs.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives with qualified prospects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role with experience in cybersecurity.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
- Ability to handle objections and maintain a consultative approach.
