MatchCare is a childcare startup designed to make the search for trustworthy and compatible nannies and babysitters smarter, safer, and more human.
We combine empathy and technology to help families and caregivers connect meaningfully through verified profiles, compatibility-based matching, and a clean, intuitive platform.
The app is already in development using React, and our mission is to transform childcare into an experience built on trust, transparency, and care.
Role Description
We’re looking for a technical co-founder who’s ready to build alongside me — not just code. This role is for someone who wants to shape the future of a startup from the ground up.
You’ll:
- Lead the product and technology strategy from MVP completion to scale.
- Finish and optimize the current React app and manage ongoing development.
- Build and manage the technical team as we grow.
- Help define the product roadmap and improve user experience with a data-driven approach.
- Be a true partner, sharing both the work and the rewards.
This is an equity-based partnership — ideal for someone ready to invest time, expertise, and leadership to grow something meaningful.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with React, front-end architecture, and API integrations.
- Ability to design and lead scalable product development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, solution-oriented, and resilient.
- Experience (or interest) in marketplaces, childcare, or trust-based platforms is a plus.
- Ready to build from 0 to 1 and grow with the company.
- Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in technical leadership
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Previous experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment preferred
