Role: Enterprise Systems Administrator
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Overview:
The Enterprise Systems Administrator will act as a Subject Matter Expert, responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the clientt’s AWS and Azure environments. This role involves cloud resource administration, troubleshooting across Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory management, and automation using PowerShell scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS and Azure resources and services.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies for 1,000+ user environments.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server (2016+) and Linux systems.
- Implement and monitor security infrastructure across cloud platforms.
- Write and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with data center and infrastructure teams for deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Develop documentation, standards, and performance reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of AWS administration experience.
- 2+ years of Azure/cloud experience.
- 5+ years of Windows Server Administration (2016+).
- 5+ years of Active Directory/DNS/Group Policy in large-scale enterprise.
- 3+ years of Linux server administration.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and virtualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Government and AWS GovCloud.
- Exposure to state government or criminal justice environments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
