Job Title: Privacy Resource Associate
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Duration: Until Dec 31, 2025
Pay: $37-$40/hr.
Ultimate Staffing has partnered with a leading global investment management firm that is seeking a Privacy Resource to support its Legal and Privacy Operations team. This organization manages assets across a wide range of investment strategies and serves institutional and individual investors worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a scoping exercise to assess vendor agreements for applicability of Brazil Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
- Develop and maintain a tracker of potentially in-scope vendor agreements.
- Coordinate with internal business owners to gather contact details and distribute scoping questionnaires.
- Identify vendor contacts for agreements deemed in-scope and initiate amendment requests.
- Collaborate with internal contracts teams and external vendors to incorporate Brazil SCCs.
- Monitor amendment progress using the tracker.
- Support additional privacy and legal operations tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-3 years of experience in asset management, legal, consulting, or multinational corporate environments.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws is a plus.
- Experience in financial services or asset management preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Background in audit, compliance, legal, or privacy functions is advantageous.
