We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our IT team and play a role in maintaining our technical infrastructure and supporting our security and compliance initiatives.
The Systems Administrator will support all aspects of InfoSend’s IT systems, security initiatives, and compliance programs. This includes maintaining complex system environments, supporting internal and external audits, responding to client security questionnaires, and contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and employee training programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes across systems
- Perform system performance tuning and automate routine tasks
- Analyze system logs and identify potential system issues
- Conduct routine system and software audits
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported problems
- Perform data backups and ensure backup integrity
- Respond to technical inquiries and support end users
- Ensure the security and stability of computer and network systems
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure to ensure uptime
- Configure, add, and delete file systems
- Design, install, maintain, and upgrade complex operating systems and applications
- Direct help-desk functions, oversee problem resolution, and schedule service requests
- Coordinate system related activities with engineering, operations, and other departments
- Manage and design network and systems growth
- Review and evaluate hardware/software solutions and purchasing needs
- Research and test emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Oversee contractor/vendor performance and resolve related issues
- Represent Systems Administration in meetings and cross-departmental initiatives
Compliance & Security
- Review IT infrastructure and application architecture for security and compliance alignment
- Evaluate vendor cybersecurity policies, business continuity plans, DR plans, and SOC reports
- Support responses to client and prospect security questionnaires
- Support vendor management processes, including due diligence and annual reviews
- Participate in maintaining compliance with PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, and other framewords
- Assist in company-wide training setup, monitoring, auditing, and management
- Support internal compliance auditing and propose process improvements
- Contribute to SOC 2 Type II, PCI, and HIPAA audit activities
- Assist in developing and maintaining IT security policies and employee training materials
- Support certification/accreditation reviews and vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate compliance remediation efforts and track open/closed issues
- Work with IT teams to address, report, and remediate vulnerability scan findings
- Lead short-term technical and compliance projects across multiple departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or accredited compliance management certification
- Previous experience as a compliance analyst in a related field
- Previous experience with SOC 2 Type II audits, in-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards
- Effective research and professional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage effective training programs
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Linux environment. Expertise on Centos is a must.
- Experience with web and application servers like Apache
- Experience in using advanced scripting language such as Bash, PHP, Python or Ruby
- Strong information security background with System hardening, intrusion detection, and penetration testing for exploits
- Solid understanding of networking hardware firewall, switch and router configurations. pfSense firewall knowledge is preferred, HP ProCurve experience is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, NTP, RPC, TFTP, SNMP, DHCP
- Knowledge of multi-site networking, such as VPNs and static routing
- Knowledge on Virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and Citrix Xen Server
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory and Exchange Server
- Basic knowledge of Database administration in either MySQL, SyBase or PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity best practices and their application
- Ability to write detailed and clear procedures and documentations that are easy to follow
- Knowledge of automation and monitoring tools. Icinga knowledge is preferred
- Experience of using version control systems such as Git/SVN/CVS is a plus
- VOIP phone systems experience. Asterisk or any Asterisk based distro is preferred
- Experience on SAN and enterprise backup systems. HP lefthand/StoreVirtual experience is preferred
