Role details
We’re partnering with a leading global banking group seeking a Network & Data Centre Architect to lead major design and transformation initiatives across their core infrastructure. The environment blends on-prem Data Centre (ACI / Nexus) with Cloud Networking (AWS / Azure) and Application Delivery (F5, Palo Alto, Infoblox) — all wrapped in a modern automation-first model (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).

Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve large-scale Data Centre and Cloud Network architectures (Cisco ACI, Nexus 9K, VXLAN/EVPN).
- Deliver end-to-end network automation pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows (GitLab/Jenkins).
- Architect and optimize F5 LTM/APM/ASM environments for high availability and security of banking applications.
- Lead migration and integration projects across on-prem and cloud estates (AWS VPCs, Azure VNets).
- Work closely with Security, Platform, and SRE teams on policy, resilience, and infrastructure as code delivery.
- Produce high-quality HLDs/LLDs, migration plans, and architectural roadmaps.
Technical Environment
Cisco ACI, Nexus 9K/7K, VXLAN, EVPN, F5 BIG-IP (LTM/APM/ASM), Palo Alto, Infoblox, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Python, GitLab, Jenkins, Linux, and CI/CD.
Ideal Profile
- 10+ years in Network Architecture / Engineering roles within large enterprise or financial environments.
- Expert in Data Centre networking, F5 architecture, and automation frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience designing hybrid cloud networks.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps pipelines.
- Certifications such as CCIE, F5 CTS, AWS Advanced Networking, or Terraform Associate highly valued.
