The Junior Systems Administrator role is responsible for assisting senior admins with both on-prem and cloud systems. The Junior Administrator will also work with the security administrator to maintain processes, procedures, and standardization of security and operations across the enterprise. This position reports to the Director of IT Operations.

Responsibilities
- Help systems admin with tasks such as backup/network monitoring.
- Assist security admin with DLP and email threat monitoring.
- Use Microsoft InTune to manage tablets, phones, workstations.
- Learn processes and procedures and make recommendations to make them more efficient.
- Travel to branch sites to help with moves, network refreshes and/or standardization projects.
- Work with helpdesk and apps teams to troubleshoot software issues.
- Create documentation how-to's for reoccurring tasks.
- Assist senior admins with virtualization tasks using industry standard virtualization technologies
- Monitor storage needs on File Servers, Virtual Servers, Azure Servers.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory
- Assist network admin with network related tasks.
- Monitor storage levels and replace drives when bad.
Experience Required
- High School diploma required
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with industry standard virtualization tools
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with email filtering using industry tools.
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with VOIP systems.
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with MS SharePoint.
- Basic understanding of networking and networking design concepts and significant experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows.
- Familiarity of scripting language skills including PowerShell.
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working and administering Microsoft 365 tenant systems, including Office 365 products such as Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, along with Azure and Azure AD.
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft systems, such as AD, DNS, and GPO.
- Excellent customer service skills and comfortable with working with executive leadership.
- Experience working with industry security tools is a plus.
- Certifications are a plus.
