Akkodis is seeking a
System Administrator for a
Contract with a client in
San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will maintain and enhance the Outage Management System and OSI Compass applications, ensuring timely incident resolution and compliance with industry standards.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor system health and security, applying patches and updates to maintain compliance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard data and systems.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
- Document system configurations, processes, and incident resolutions for future reference and audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (certifications like Microsoft, Linux, or VMware preferred).
- 5–8+ years of experience in system administration and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, operating systems, and network components.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, implement security measures, and ensure high availability and performance.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
