Title: Systems Administrator

Details: 12-month contract with long-term ongoing needs, opportunity for direct hire, hybrid role with 4 days weekly in office
Pay Rate: $38.00 – 43.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support critical IT projects and system operations. This role will focus on managing user access, troubleshooting system issues, coordinating upgrades, and ensuring smooth integration across multiple platforms. The position involves collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to maintain system reliability and deliver enhancements for enterprise applications such as Windchill, LinkOne, Titania, and related tools.
Years Of Experience And Education
- Experience: 5+ years in Systems Administration or IT Infrastructure roles
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Skills Required
- Systems Administration Expertise
- User account creation, permission management, and license administration across multiple platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Tier 1 issues, including user access, connectivity, publishing errors, and system interconnectivity
- Application & Tool Proficiency
- Windchill (including CMS metadata updates, upgrades, and validation)
- LinkOne, Arbortext Editor, Congree, Parts Publisher, Titania, WebView/Customer Portal
- Language tools: RWS, WorldServer, Language Weaver
- Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow for ticketing and workflow management
- Project & Upgrade Management
- Coordinate system downtime and vendor communication
- Execute and validate system/application upgrades and enhancements
- Support conversion projects, data migrations, and underground-specific enhancements
- Conduct UAT, validation reporting, and metadata alignment
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Create and manage vendor tickets (PTC, RWS, Hitachi, Oberon)
- Handle vendor documentation, MSA, SSO templates, TRA forms, and SharePoint forms
- Manage license procurement, payment processing, and vendor contract updates
- Publishing & Content Management
- Service content publishing (parts books, PDFs, CSVs)
- Test new stylesheets, translation workflows, and language support
- Maintain publishing history tools and implement version updates
- Reporting & Analytics
- Generate system usage reports, user analytics, and action metrics
- Track publishing performance (book print, downloads, etc.)
- Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
