Job Title: Cyber Risk Associate

Our client is hiring an Associate to support Technology & Cyber Risk oversight through independent RCSA validation. In this role, you’ll review control assessments, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure technology and cybersecurity risks are properly evaluated and documented.
What You’ll Do
- Validate technology and cyber RCSAs, including ITGCs, infrastructure, and security controls
- Review control design, testing, and effectiveness assessments
- Coordinate validation activities with technology, cyber, and first-line teams
- Document findings, track remediation, and support governance reporting
- Apply strong PMO skills to manage schedules, deliverables, and methodologies
What You Bring
- 5–10+ years in Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, IT Audit, or Operational Risk
- Experience validating or testing tech/cyber controls within an RCSA framework
- Solid understanding of IT and cybersecurity domains and industry standards (NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL)
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor’s in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CCAK, PMP
