I’m supporting a rapidly scaling financial technology firm that operates at the intersection of global payments, clearing, and emerging‑market financial infrastructure. The company is expanding its US‑hours compliance coverage and looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Analyst to strengthen its day‑to‑day controls environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their compliance career who wants exposure across multiple domains—KYB, financial crime, transaction monitoring, and regulatory interactions—inside a fast‑paced, international payments ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Operational Compliance Support
- Monitor daily activity and investigate unusual or complex payment flows.
- Assess alerts, apply internal policies, and document conclusions clearly.
- Flag and escalate high‑risk patterns or cases that require enhanced review.
Regulatory & Banking Coordination
- Handle incoming requests from banking partners or oversight bodies.
- Compile and verify corporate documentation, transactional evidence, and KYC/KYB files.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses within agreed timelines.
Corporate Customer Due Diligence (KYB)
- Review onboarding submissions from new corporate clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare cases for senior compliance sign‑off.
- Reach out to clients for clarifications or missing data when needed.
Process & Risk Improvements
- Help maintain records, audit trails, and internal reporting.
- Participate in periodic reviews, internal audits, and ad‑hoc investigations.
- Recommend improvements to monitoring logic, workflow efficiency, and policy execution.
About You
You bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in a compliance or financial crime function, preferably within fintech, payments, or another regulated financial environment.
- Working knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, KYB/CDD, and broader regulatory expectations.
- Familiarity with US regulatory frameworks (including both traditional regulators and financial free zones).
- The ability to analyse patterns, interpret risk signals, and make well‑reasoned recommendations.
