As an IT Pro I, you will be at the forefront of our clinic's IT support, assisting student providers, faculty, and staff by maintaining and troubleshooting our desktop systems, software applications, and peripherals. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our environment remains secure, efficient, and capable of delivering the high-quality care our patients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to clinic personnel for desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Maintain a customer-first attitude and resolve technical needs efficiently
- Diagnose and resolve customer reported issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, software, and other peripherals
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement technology initiatives
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and privacy regulations (HIPAA, HITECH)
- Document and update IT support procedures and policies as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four months (1 semester) of student worker and/or customer service experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong knowledge of Windows and office productivity software
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with clinical practice management software is a plus
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus
