We are an established MSP in Richardson is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support commercial and government clients across DFW. This role blends technical depth with a consultative approach as you assess environments, establish standards, and guide clients toward stronger IT and security maturity.
You will evaluate and optimize client infrastructure across networks, servers, Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, workstations, applications, and cloud platforms. The position includes implementing best practices, reducing reactive issues, managing onboarding projects, performing quarterly runbook and DR reviews, and identifying automation opportunities. You will serve as the primary technical authority for assigned clients, support escalations as needed, and partner with vCIO and project teams to shape long term roadmaps.
Requirements
• Strong Azure experience
• Strong Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, server, and domain skills
• Solid networking background and strong diagnostic capability
• Understanding of IT service tools and MSP delivery workflows
• Clear communication with technical and nontechnical users
• Ability to prioritize, take initiative, and build trusted client relationships
