Infrastructure Solutions Architect
Pay Rate: $40-50/HR
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite) in Lansing, MI
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to provide architecture support.This role is critical to supporting mission?essential applications that impact the health and well-being of the public. The selected candidate will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and integrate system data models to promote data sharing and eliminate redundancy.
- Provide technical advice to project managers and collaborate on project planning.
- Develop and enforce data classification policies, standards, and security practices.
- Create and maintain metadata repositories, system-level designs, and technical documentation.
- Architect and support infrastructure for application environment consolidation, migration, and integration.
- Lead implementation of IT solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Recommend solutions for infrastructure changes based on feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and cloud deployments.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Network Administration experience
- 5+ years of RHEL/OpenShift experience
- 5+ years of Windows Server experience
- 3+ years of SQL/Oracle experience
- 5+ years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining systems documentation
- Experience designing and architecting native/hybrid cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
