Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT System Administrator located in Greater Lansing. The IT System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT systems and networks, providing technical support, and implementing troubleshooting solutions. The role includes configuring and monitoring system performance, ensuring network security, and collaborating with teams to optimize technology usage. Additionally, the candidate will work to identify and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain smooth IT operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in System Administration, including managing servers, operating systems, and ensuring optimal performance
- Experience with Network Administration, including configuring, monitoring, and securing network infrastructure
- Strong skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware and software issues effectively
- Comprehensive understanding of Information Technology principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment and manage multiple priorities
