Location (city, state): South San Francisco, CA - 5 days onsite
Compensation: $65-75/hr

A biotech company in South San Francisco is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their growing IT team. The company recently went public and is scaling operations. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day IT operations across Mac/Windows, administer tools like Addigy, InTune, O365, Okta, Zoom, and oversee helpdesk tickets in Jira. You’ll partner with a small internal team and reduce reliance on MSP resources, while also supporting both corporate and lab environments. This is a fully onsite role with an initial 6 month contract at a competitive rate. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of IT experience supporting both Mac and Windows, ITIL knowledge, with biotech/pharma industry experience and lab exposure considered a plus.
Required Tech/Experience:
· Senior level experience supporting both Mac and Windows (roughly 25% Mac; 75% Windows breakdown)
· Experience in small-to-medium sized company environments
· ITIL knowledge
· Confident supporting O365
· Proven experience supporting similar tech stack: Okta, Zoom, O365, Ninja, InTune, Addigy etc.
· Proven experience working in a high-demand environment
· Comfortable navigating lack of structure. (they are not a well-oiled machine).
· Customer facing, go-getter mentality
· Strong documentation skills
Preferred Tech/Experience:
· Biotech/pharma industry experience
· Some lab environment experience
· Addigy or any MDM platform
· Ninja (will be added to their stack shortly)
· Prior experience building policies and procedures
