One of Swoon's top clients in the Machinery Manufacturing space is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team, for a 12 month contract out of East Peoria, IL!
Location - ONSITE - East Peoria, IL
Duration - 12 months to start
Rate - $33/hour W2
The onsite support individual is a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives on troubleshooting and delivering exceptional support
DAY TO DAY
- Provide shop floor Level 1 LAN and WLAN network support, machine control support and digital display support
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments
- Perform data backups, Windows patching and disaster recovery operations
- Perform firewall access administration
- Provide server support
- Perform security risk mitigation
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Facilities engineering staff
- Collaborate with team members
- Partnering with Segment CISO on Cybersecurity concerns and vulnerabilities
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 3-5 years of network experience required (demonstrated experience of basic network skills, ping machines, checking network cables).
- Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
- Basic ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements
