Amarel-US, part of the global Amarel group supporting complex technological systems in the defense and commercial sectors, is seeking a hands-on Senior System Administrator to join our team in Florida.
In this role, you will:
- Provide 24/7 support to ensure continuous operation of the Real-Time Control Center (RTCC).
- Perform preventive maintenance (TCP/IP, network, backups, upgrades, monthly routines, virus scans).
- Handle real-time corrective maintenance, including on-site troubleshooting and hardware replacement.
- Support system upgrades, modifications, and performance enhancements.
- Recommend hardware/software improvements to strengthen system reliability and security.
- Deliver training and OJT to the implementation team and clients; develop an on-call backup.
- Implement backup and high-availability strategies for critical systems.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of system administration experience.
- Associate’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills in Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and Network Administration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA) - advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and proven performance in IT operations.
