Position Overview
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of local and enterprise IT systems that support Spotless Brands’ Car Wash operations. Reporting to the Manager of IT operations and working closely with local business leadership, this role plays a key part in maintaining critical infrastructure including networks, servers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and end-user devices while ensuring alignment with company-wide IT policies and cybersecurity standards. The IT Systems Administrator supports system lifecycle management, vendor coordination, disaster recovery planning, and user access management. This position requires onsite presence during regular business hours with occasional evening or weekend support as needed to maintain uninterrupted service and operational readiness across all supported locations.
Essential Functions (Other Duties As Assigned)
- Provide essential technical support for IT systems, services, and processes, including network infrastructure, services, end user equipment, security tools, applications, user accounts and access to the company information, systems, and assets
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and business operations teams on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of point-of-sale (POS), supporting infrastructure and services
- Ensure that all IT assets (end user equipment, POS systems, network equipment, internet and cloud services, applications, subscriptions, licenses, information) are effectively managed, secured and maintained throughout their entire lifecycle from sourcing to deployment and dispositions
- Implement company approved IT policies and process controls to ensure standardization of processes and configurations across the IT environment
- Deploy, configure, and manage productivity and collaboration tools/ solutions for company team members
- Administer access to company information and systems according to established cybersecurity frameworks, existing policies, and user roles and responsibilities
- Remediate identified cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the IT environment
- Implement and test disaster recovery procedures and tasks, in alignment with the company business continuity and disaster recovery policies
- Research, evaluate and recommend emerging technologies based on business and operational requirements
- Train team members on software, hardware, and technical processes
- Other duties as assigned
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting cloud and on-premises IT solutions, processes, services, systems, and network infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365, AWS, IAM services, UCaaS, Window Servers, applications, WAN, LAN, WLAN systems & services, firewalls, EDR solutions, SQL services etc.) required
- Experience with cybersecurity operations, tools, systems, and processes
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) preferred, but not required
- Experience working and comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization, with an M&A driven growth strategy, where system consolidation, acquisition integration and speed to market are key success factors
- Experience in car wash or retail settings is preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Travel to field sites or business locations as required; travel approximately 90% of the time locally
- May require occasional extended hours during system updates or incident resolution
